Our Design Process
Here at JJ Bathrooms we take you on a bathroom journey that harmonises functionality with aesthetic. We begin with a detailed exploration of your preferences, lifestyle, and how you wish to use your space.
The conceptual phase involves sketching layouts and exploring design elements, followed by collaborative discussions to refine the vision. Material selection plays a crucial role, ensuring durability and visual coherence. As the design evolves, we use our 3D renders to really bring your vision to life. The final stage involves planning of fixtures, lighting, and finishes.
Step One
Design Consultation
The first step in your design journey is to book in your free design consultation with one of the team. The design consultation is an opportunity for us to discuss your ideas, likes and dislikes with a cuppa in hand. For us, it’s to gather a real feel for how you would like to transform your space and start creating a concept for your bathroom design.
Step Two
Site Survey
After your initial consultation, we’ll arrange with you a time for us to visit the property and carry out a survey on the rooms you wish to transform. The survey involves taking all relevant measurements of the space and assessing all works that need to be carried out to ensure your desired bathroom can be achieved. We do this to ensure we don’t come across any surprises along the way.
Step Three
Bespoke Design
This is where it really starts to get exciting! Following your site visit, the team will get to work on bringing the vision to life. We’ll create a 3D floor plan of your room and carefully pick brands and schemes which fit best with the initial brief. We’ll then start to create a mood board and gather the samples we can to give the best representation of the products we’ve specifically picked for you ahead of presentation.
Step Four
The Presentation
The presentation is where it starts to feel ‘real’. We’ll invite you back to the showroom to meet with your designer and talk through the design concept we’ve put together for you. This meeting gives you the opportunity to see everything come together, your vision, your ideas paired with ours and our design expertise! It’s also an opportunity for us to work with you to tweak anything you’re not 100% happy with. Once you’re happy with your design, we can get to work on the costings, we know that this can generally be the over-riding factor so we are always conscious to ensure we don’t over spec any project but create something beautiful.
Step Five
Project Approval
Once you’ve made any amends and approved your design and quotation with us, we’ll arrange payment and get the project booked in.
Step Six
Ongoing Support
Whether we are supplying and installing your project or just supplying, we want to ensure that your entire experience is as enjoyable and stress free as possible. As a small business we pride ourselves on having close working relationships with our customers, from design all the way through to execution we want you to have the confidence that our aftercare team will be on-hand.
